In this video, I'll be Recording Rap Vocals With a Neumann U87 ai, Neve 1073, Distressor Compressor. The neumann u87ai is one of the best microphone for vocals. Once you plug it into the neve 1073 SPX and the empirical labs el8 distressor your going to experience magical things! The distressor on vocals will control a lot of the harshness of using a hardware preamp. Best condenser microphone like the neumann u87 microphone will give you extreme details that you wont find in cheaper gear. This video is not necessarily a neumann u87 ai test but me working on my album! I will be using my NEW Pro Tools Template the Industry Quality Pro Tools Template (2023 UPDATE!) also coming with a uad neve 1073 preamp and uad distressor compressor preset for people who don't have the hardware to get a similar sound.
